It’s our 7/10 days in Taiwan. My siblings and I will be staying in Orange Hotel at Guanqian (Taipei) for the last 3 days of our stay. The trip was so far so good, except for the crazy cold weather and extremely strong winds….
Orange Hotel Guanqian is located near the Taipei Main Station which is the main intersection point to change between Metro, THSR, TRA and buses. If you are coming from the airport or any other states in Taiwan, you will need to passby there.
Walking approximately 7 min from the Main Station Exit M6, the hotel is very visible from the junction.
The main door to the hotel is always locked for security purpose. So you’ll need to ring the bell to notify the hotel staff to let you in upon your first visit. Subsequently you can just use your room key card to enter.
I requested for 2 room key cards so if my siblings and I want to come back on different timing we can do so. And I was issued 4 breakfast coupons for the next 2 days.
Breakfast is NOT hosted in the hotel so you’ll have to bring the coupons to the 2 venue, Yoshinoya or Dante Coffee to redeem them. Which is pretty common trend for Hotels in Taipei.
OFF TO THE ROOM TO UNLOAD & REST
The room is clean and pleasant. Bed and pillows are good to sleep on. Toilet amenities are sufficient and towels are also clean. Most importantly the whole hotel has ZERO unpleasant smell.
TV channels in the room are clear to watch. And they also do provide safe box in the room for your valuables.
Orange Hotel also provides
If you feel hungry at anytime of the day, there are lots of eateries nearby and 2 convenience store is just located within 2 min walk from the hotel.
And if you desperately need shopping, try the train underground malls. They sell the same thing as Ximending but at a much cheaper price. If you like anime try Y Mall. If not take the Metro to Ximending Station which is 1 station away and you can shop till pass midnight.
I had a very pleasant stay in Orange Hotel Guanqian for the last 2 nights in Taipei. And yes, the bed and pillow is really good to sleep on. I did recharged myself after snoozing in the hotel for almost one full day, because I was down with indigestion along the trip.
Thanks Orange Hotel and OmySG for hosting me on this 3D2N
